Welcome to the University of Pennsylvania Libertarian Association blog.
The mission of the Penn Libertarians is to promote an understanding of and support for libertarian principles within the student body of the University of Pennsylvania; to engage in debate and dialogue about libertarianism’s meaning, political efficacy and social desirability; and to engage in political activism that upholds libertarian principles both on campus and in the surrounding political community.
This blog will be used to keep the Penn community updated to the activities of the Penn Libertarians as well as provide commentary and news on libertarian issues. Be sure to keep checking back for updates on:
- Penn Libertarian events including lectures, socials, movie nights, debates and discussions
- Political issues on Penn's campus
- Important national news
- Philadelphia news
- Online debates between Penn Libertarian members
Best,
Alexander McCobin
President of the Penn Libertarian Association
